Peter Protopapas has handled a wide variety of complex business and legal malpractice cases throughout South Carolina. Since becoming a member of the South Carolina Bar in 2000, Peter Protopapas has focused his practice on lawsuits against professionals, such as lawyers and doctors. He also represents clients who have suffered catastrophic personal injury in automobile and trucking accidents and frequently litigates matters involving complex business disputes, securities and stock losses and, and class actions. He periodically lectures on these issues to lawyers and other professionals.
Peter has also volunteered his time to community activities and was a Board Member for South Carolina Legal Services, a non-profit organization which assists South Carolinians. Peter is also active in legal groups such as the South Carolina Bar Association, the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court, and the South Carolina Association of Justice. Peter conducted his undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts where he received a B.A. in 1992. In 1994, he graduated from the University of Florida with his M.A. degree. In 2000, he graduated from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law where he earned honors such as the Order of Coif and the Order of the Wig and Robe. When not working, Peter spends his time with his children, Paul and Sophia.
